Hobie's Story...
Hobie is the SWEETEST 12 pound Papillon with a hint of mix. He is 11-12 months old. He has reached his full height but could add a pound, which his foster family is helping him do. Hobie is a dog that is shy at first meet but warms up nicely to the family. He would love to be someone's companion for daily errands or an afternoon nap. Hobie loves other dogs and cats as well. Hobie is one gentle sweetheart! He was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN and didn't deserve to be left there! Hobie is house trained and has lovely manners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hobie, a Stamford Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Stamford, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
