How do you spell cute? A-S-T-R-O, an adorable boy with a side of snuggly!
Astro is a Miniature Dachshund mix who is about 3 years old who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after his human mommy passed away. We are now searching for a forever home for this brown and blue eyed boy!
Astro is a FUN boy who loves to play fetch and keep away with you and other dogs. He is very, very playful and has a ton of energy! He is a ton of fun to have around, but keep in mind he is no couch potato. He is active and ready to go and do things; he walks well on a leash and enjoys being out and about with you. He will do best in a home with people who will play with him and walk him every day; we would not recommend kids under 12.
This cutie does have a soft and snuggly side and likes to sleep under the covers with you at night if you will let him. He is very well mannered in and out of the house; he is a smart boy and even knows how to sit up and beg. He is also a great alarm system and will bark when someone comes to the house; however he does not bark unnecessarily.
Astro is good with cats and other small dogs. He isn’t great around big dogs and acts like he has to protect everyone from them. We would not recommend him going to a home with dogs bigger than about 25 pounds.
Astro is house trained to a dog door, without one you’ll need to do a little work.
Astro is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
