Ryder is a beautiful red dapple boy with the biggest basset-hound-like ears you'll ever see! He loves his human and will follow them around anywhere. He will curl up next to his human at night. Ryder is very laid back and gets along with anyone or dog he meets.

Thanks to Village Vets and DREAM, he came from near death to this beautiful, loving boy. He is in superior shape at 13.13 pounds with the softest hair ever!

dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml Ryder 's adoption fee is $300. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Ryder will go to his new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxies's back.
