Tom's Story...
Tom and his almost identical ( Jerry has a small bit of white) brother, Jerry ,have been saved and are safe for now; although they are having to live in a barn. Tom and Jerry are about 6 months old and weighing about 40 lbs right now. Fully grown, they will probably be on the large size. These boys are super sweet and happy pups. They are very smart and should be easily trained. Their shiny, sleek ,back coats should be easy to maintain and keep clean. All these guys need is to be given a chance by a loving family and they will reward that family with so much love, loyalty and devotion! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
