Dancer's Story...
Meet our Holiday Pups...Donner (Donna), Prancer, Blitzen and Dancer! These four pups were born in late October. The owner of the mother, a Maltese mix, did not want the mother or her 1 week old pups, so our rescue accepted them. These very sweet and loving puppies have been raised in a foster home. All four puppies are healthy and very active. These puppies will be 12 – 13 lbs as adults.

The puppies will be available for adoption when they are spayed or neutered and have a microchip in 1-2 weeks.

For information on the adoption process, please go to our website at www.malteserescuecalifornia.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dancer, a Covina Maltese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Covina, or seeking a Maltese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Maltese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
