We shake our heads and wonder...2 gorgeous Cairn Terrier puppies abandoned outside a vet clinic in rural Oklahoma? Why abandon outside when there are other options available...we'll never know. These young puppies were housed at this vet clinic for 6 months...their physical needs were lovingly met but they clearly needed a permanent home! Luther and Mario were finally adopted out to a much older couple...clearly an inappropriate match. The couple became incapable of caring for this perfect duo. Farfel's rescuer was contacted about rehoming these incredible pups due to their truly incredible temperaments. Coming to present time - Luther and Mario are 3.5 - 4 years old and have grown into a bonded pair that is nothing but exceptional. The following is the latest foster report on this amazing twosome: "Luther and Mario are Cairn terrier litter mates that are about 3.5 - 4 years old. I know everyone says this about their fosters...that they're perfect in every way. This time, it's really true! These are the absolute best dogs I've ever fostered! Seriously...they're so respectful in my home...completely Housebroken!! They could not be more affectionate....yet quiet and never, ever obnoxious or needy. They're not yappy either...just always sweet and friendly. My kids (ages 8 & 10) love these pups to no end..as do their friends. They play and cuddle constantly. At the end of the day..my bed consists of Luther & Mario, my 2 dogs and me in a tiny corner...so unfair! Luther & Mario are absolutely a bonded pair and MUST be together. And who would want to separate them? We don't need TV anymore since we've got these 2 to entertain us...they're a riot! Whoever is lucky enough to bring these guys into their homes & hearts is getting an amazing gift!!" Luther & Mario would be perfect in a home with kids...or without kids.. as long as they get tons of attention and love. These pups are non-shedders and therefore require periodic baths/brushing to keep their gorgeous chocolate-colored coats healthy and matt-free.
Luther & Mario will be arriving on transport in Denver on 12/21. They are an amazing pair and will bring joy and companionship to a forever family during this holiday season. Applications and inquiries are currently being accepted for this exceptional duo.
