Love's Story...
Hello, meet "Love" a calico, female kitten. She is a very animated family oriented cat, in need of forever home!

Her name fits her perfectly as she is full of love. She is playful and will play with anybody: people or cats. Love is doing great with kids, even small ones. She is smart and comes when called. She likes to cuddle and be close by if she is not busy playing. Love likes to be pet for as long as someone will pet her. She would do great in any home but especially if there are people or cats willing to play with her.

Love’s estimated Date of Birth is 7/15/13. Her adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test (neg), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, flea preventative, microchip and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Love, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
