Bingo's Story...
Bingo was really scared to find himself at the noisy dog pound, but he’s now settling down in his foster home with Scott and taking some time out to relax. He is probably around a year old, heartworm negative, fully vetted - and now taking applications for his new family! He is a very sweet, easy to manage young boy who will make a great family member.

Scott updates us on Bingo after just a few days relaxing in foster care: Bingo is crate trained and goes into the cage by himself. He appears to be house trained. He loves to play with toys and is very food motivated. He rarely barks. When I introduced Bingo to Maddie, they were both very calm. No wrestling, no fighting, and no mouthing. This was a pleasant surprise! For some unknown reason, they're just good together. If I were to get a second dog, it would be Bingo. Bingo is a winner.

If you would like to adopt one of our rescue bullies, please submit our adoption application found on our website www.texasbullterrier.org/rescue_information.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bingo, a Houston Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
