My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

14 JULY 2014: Sweet Frosty is coming back to BREW. More details soon!
15 FEBRUARY 2014: Frosty is one sweet, gentle and easy going beagle. He loves people, especially children, other dogs and animal of all kinds. Don’t let his gray face fool you, he is a young dog at heart. Frosty loves to play with his ball and will spend time entertaining himself by tossing it and then pouncing on it. He is happy to relax on his bed and equally excited to go for a long walk. Frosty is crate trained, house broken and walks beautifully on a leash. He is a smart dog who easily learned stairs and mastered the doggie door. Frosty is very curious, likes to inspect his surroundings and loves to look out the window. I think he would do well in any situation.
29 JANUARY 2014: Frosty is one terrific beagle! He is very gentle boy who just wants love and has a lot of love to give in return. He is a very sweet and is eager to learn and to please. Frosty is very motivated by treats and very responsive to training. He won’t take a treat from your hand, prefers if you put it on the floor in front of him. He is very sweet and snuggly but is not a kisser.
Frosty gets along well with all dogs, large and small and does great with cats as well. He is very curious about the world around him and calmly friendly to everyone he meets, young and old. He is very quiet for a beagle. I have only heard one bark, demanding to be let out of his crate after a long stretch. He is crate-trained, housebroken and terrific at walking on a leash.
He is a little bit timid but his confidence grows every day as he learns the routine and feels secure in his environment.

Frosty is a 6-7 year- old male beagle who is very friendly and does well with other dogs. He was a stray at the Louisa County shelter so his history is unknown. Stay tuned for more information as we get to know him better!
