Perdy's Story...

Perdy is approximately 5 years old and was rescued from the local pound where she was going to be euthanized for being fearful. She was shy at first but has come out of her shell in a big way! All she wants to do is play with her foster brother (a pitbull)! She is a typical high-energy German Shepherd and loves toys. She is housebroken, crate-trained, and great with other dogs and cats. She is special in that she is vision-impaired, mostly at night. No unfenced-pools please. You won't regret adopting this playful girl!
Perdy, German Shepherd Dog has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perdy, a Tempe German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Tempe, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Tempe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tempe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tempe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tempe paves the way for another one to be saved.
