Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Pat's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pat's Story...
Pat was pulled from Miami-Dade Animal Services in May 2012. She was here for eight months before being adopted and then ended up as a stray at Miami-Dade again in August of this year. Her owner couldn't be reached to claim her, so we went and picked her up and brought her back to our facility. She is a sweet, affectionate girl, loves other dogs, great to be around, but hasn't had any adoption inquiries. We think it's because she's too big to be a little dog, and too little to be a big dog?!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pat, a Miami Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Miami, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
