UPDATE: Just wanted to thank all my AGB angels who contributed money for my heartworm treatment. I will forever be blessed because of you! I have finished my heartworm treatment and man do I feel so much better. I am really looking forward to finding my forever home now! BIO: Chester here and I am pleased to meet you. I am around an 18 month old male, weighing 67 pounds. My story has me very sad, but AGB has come to my rescue and promises me things will get better for me if I will just trust them. I am working on that as this is being written. I was “dropped off” in the afterhours drop box at the Talladega shelter. How awful is that? If that wasn’t bad enough the AGB doctor gave me a health exam and I am heartworm positive. That really added to my “bummer” mood. With the help of the great folks here at the doctors office and the AGB folks, I am learning to trust again, as they have told me everything is going to be alright for me. I am a sweet natured, laid back type of guy who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. I know “sit” and have great listening skills and intelligence such that the sky is the limit on training. At the risk of boasting, the folks at AGB describe me in just two words, “Fantastic dog!”.
