found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
My foster parents tell EVERYONE I am the best most well-adjusted foster EVER!! Hey I knew that. What's not to love? I am a go with the flow kinda boy. I really like the 2 cats and my 4 sister dogs I am staying with. I love to carry squeaky toys around and snuggle with my foster parents on the sofa. I can totally amuse myself and when it is bed time, I want my plush pillow bed and a lovely polar fleece blankie to burrow into. I am good about going outside, but please remember to let me out. I also come to you when you call my name. I don't know what the big deal is (dah... you get a treat when you mind!!) but my foster parents are pretty amazed a doxie comes when called. Guess cause my sisters are pretty stubborn. Girls!
Wouldn't you love to have me come live with you? I have so much affection to give and hopefully someone will adopt me and take care of me in a new forever home.
**If you can't adopt him, please consider donating to DREAM for his care. Thanks!**
If you are interested in adopting Issac, you can fill out an application right at our website! Go to dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml. Issac 's adoption fee is $275. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Issac will go to his/her new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.
DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxies's back.
