Charlie is a super loving kitten that started out in a bad neighborhood but was rescued by a loving person who fed him. I named him after his rescuer. Charlie is a little quiet at adoption events so gets overlooked but he does love to play, be with people and with other cats. He is good natured, easy going doesn't try to bite or claw you and fun to be around. Neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and flea free. All ready for your home. For more information and to complete an application, please email foster at phyllis891@att. Thank you. Please visit our website at for adoption dates and application.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
