Rufus *Adopted's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rufus *Adopted's Story...
Rufus is a 4 year old Great Pyrenees that came with Smokey from a local kill shelter where they were surrendered by their family due to financial problems. The dogs had been loyal family pets, raised with children, other dogs and cats; they are not working dogs. Two pics are post-grooming and two before grooming; will get more pics posted soon.

Rufus is a laid back lovebug, he likes everyone and everything. He is house trained, will crate although he prefers not to and has shown to have good indoor manners. Rufus would do great with other dogs of any size or as a single dog, not yet cat tested yet although family says the dogs are fine with cats.

Rufus is fully vetted including vaccines, dewormed, heart worm tested negative, treated for tick borne disease, neutered, micro chipped, and dental cleaning. If you would like to apply to adopt Rufus please download the application from the GPRO website: www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus *Adopted, a Tulsa Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Tulsa, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Tulsa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tulsa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tulsa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tulsa paves the way for another one to be saved.
