Betsy's Story...
My name is Betsy. I am a 5 year old, female Beagle. I am a lovable gal who will be a loyal companion. Beagles are known for our family-friendly natures and I am no different. I am very sweet and just want to be by your side at all times. That is, unless she I smell something interesting, and then I will follow my nose! For this I need to be walked with a leash. My stubborness when on the chase can lead me astray. I also have that typical big Beagle bark and may not make a good apartment dog. I will need some work on potty training. Crate training and plenty of walks will be the best option for housetraining me. I will need daily walks and would love to go on all sorts of adventures with my family. Please come by to see me if you have room in your heart and home for a little Beagle with a big heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Bellingham Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
