Sweet Suri's Story...
Hi! my name is Suri and I am looking for a loving, furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico with my babies. They will be arriving in a few weeks. I am about 2 years old and 45 lbs but need to gain a little weight. I am very sweet and good with other dogs. I am located in Dedham, Mass. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Get your adoption applications in so you can come to our meet and greets on Saturdays from 9 - 3 and Sundays from 9 -1. We also have meet and greets by appointment Monday through Fridays. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Suri :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Suri, a Brooklyn Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
