Sammy was rescued from a high kill shelter when he was a young kitten. When he first arrived he was scared, unsure of people and very shy with other cats. Spending most of his life in the shelter, Sammy has developed Bronchitis and is currently in foster care which has controlled his condition. A handsome grey tabby with the cutest ear tuffs, wonderful grey tabby markings, alluring amber eyes who has a gentle sweet nature. Sammy has come along way in his journey of learning to trust people and is now a confident happy go lucky fella thanks to the persistence of the volunteers at NTCR. He can be a little shy at first when meeting new people but quickly warms up with a slow approach and truly enjoys being scratched, giving love and receiving lovins. He is playful curious sweetie who loves treats and can easily be coached when treats are involved. He will need a patient owner who understands his need to feel safe and has patience while he builds trust with his new owner. If you want to be the one to show Sammy what it is like to have a “furever” home & family, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.
