Abigail's Story...
This petite princess has endured a heartbreaking past and is ready for the bright future she deserves. Abigail is a medium sized terrier mix and is approximately 5-8 years old. She has a home at one time, but for whatever reason they abandoned her, leaving her to fend for herself on the streets. Abigail was found starved of nutrition and scared of the unknown, her frail body weak and sore. She is currently in a foster home where she is on her way to recovery. She will need a quiet home where someone will love her and keep her safe. If you are interested in meeting this sweet little girl please contact the shelter to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Muskegon Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
