My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chappy is a 12 yr old neutered miniature poodle weighing in at 7lbs. Chappy’s owner passed away and there was no family available to take him in. Chappy gets along well with children and other dogs, but his cat status is unknown. He is a very laid back little fellow, so it is presumed that he would do fine with cats. Chappy is crate trained but is not housebroken. He will use the bathroom outside, but still has accidents. This has been a lifelong habit, so Chappy will need someone special who will work with him to teach him differently, or who is willing to diaper him while he is inside. Chappy is missing all of his teeth and requires canned or soft food only. Chappy is available for rescue or adoption. Adoption fee is $75.00. Application and home visit required.
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the life of the dog while in foster care.

NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
