My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

January 15, 2014, Jake was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Doyle is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Jake here! He's a one year old handsome lab/boxer mix that is up for just about anything. Jake has lots of energy and would love a fenced in backyard to play in. He's a friendly fellow that is from the Lorain County Kennel. Because of this not much is known about Jake. He's got a happy go lucky personality with some puppy traits so will need some training. He's a good boy looking for a loving home. If you want to find out more about Jake stop by for a visit. He'd love to see you. Jake was recently adopted and returned. He did not like the cat in the family.
