Sammy is a sweetheart. He is playful with other puppies, everyone he meets and likes a nice snuggle too. He and his siblings are hoping for a forever family for Christmas with lots of toys, a wonderful yard to run in and a snuggly bed to nap in.

NOTE: . WRAR will only adopt a puppy (under 5 months of age) to adopters that are either home ALL day long or can bring the puppy to work. There are NO exceptions to this. WRAR only adopts to adults over the age of 25.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Westfield Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Westfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Westfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
