Rosco's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rosco's Story...
Rosco is 1-2 yrs old and weighs about 8 to 9 pounds.
He was found by a 3R rescue volunteer just in the nick of time before he was to be euthanized. What a save this was. Rosco is just about the best dog his foster mom has ever had. He is sweet and very playful with all his foster siblings. Rosco loves everyone he meets and is just an all-around great dog. He knows most of his commands, likes to ride in the car and is great on leash!
He is not a fan of the crate so his foster mom lets him sleep with her since he is not a bed hog. He will curl up in one spot for the night.
Rosco is a nice mix of Rat Terrier and Papillon. His personality is that of the Ratty but he has a bit longer coat like that of the Papillon.
He is the size of a toy Ratty but his eyes and ears are Papillon. He is a beauty and has that great Ratty personality FUN!
He would be a great dog for any family but he must go to a home that has a dog his size and about his age. He will keep everyone entertained. He needs a playmate and would not do well alone so if you want about the best dog out there please apply for Rosco.
He is neutered, micro-shipped and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org or phone 707-529-4643.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosco, a Winters Rat Terrier/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Papillon for sale in Winters, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Papillon dog from a breeder in Winters.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winters already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winters breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Papillon breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winters paves the way for another one to be saved.
