PUPPY MAXWELL's Story...
Maxwell is a Boxer/Lab mix boy, black with a little bit of white – medium size. Born 10/9/13. The shelter where their mother was brought as a stray listed her as Mountain Cur/Beagle. The pups have webbing in their feet, so they definitely have Retriever. Their mom has a definitive under bite, indicative of a Boxer. Max weighed 13 ounces at birth and was at 11.5 pounds at his 7 week weigh-in. He has a beautiful shiny black coat and the fur seems a little fluffier and heavier. His little face will melt your heart when he looks up at you expecting to be picked up and played with. Max loves to play tug and roughhouse with the others. He also likes to explore while out of the puppy pen. We think Max will be fairly calm after puppyhood. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY MAXWELL, a Salem Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
