Hi! my name is Vivacious Vixen and I am looking for a loving, furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico along with my mom and 3 siblings. We are all located in Dedham, Mass. Everyone says we are the cutest, most playful pups you could imagine. I am about 11 weeks old and 20 lbs. Full grown will be about 45 lbs. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Get your adoption applications in so you can come to our meet and greets every Saturday from 9 - 3 and Sundays from 9 - 1. We also have meet and greets by appointment Monday through Fridays. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Vixen:)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vivacious Vixen, a Brooklyn Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
