Sasha's Story...
My name is Sasha. I am a lovable German Shepherd looking for a responsible forever home. It will be mandatory that you sign me up for positive reward based obedience classes before my adoption can be finalized. I would do well in a home with children over 13 who have lived with large dogs before. That way the kids can properly play with me and exercise me, as well as help with my training. I have a lot of energy and will need long walks every day to keep my mind stimulated and sane. I would happily live with a playful dog, preferably male, and would do best without any cats. I like to chase cats and they don’t seem to enjoy that! I am a smart girl and learn fast. I like to chase after tennis balls! If you have the resources and time to dedicate to me, please head up to WHS today and we can get to know each other.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Bellingham German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
