SWEET, SMALL, GENTLE, SENSITIVE ZIGGY WANTS A FOREVER FRIEND!
PLEASE NOTE THAT ZIGGY IS IN THE EUREKA AREA; HE IS NOT IN COVELO. PLEASE NOTE CONTACT INFORMATION FOR ZIGGY BELOW.
Ziggy is cute little fellow about 2-3 years old. He has a gentle manner and gets along with everyone. We think he’s a doxy mix (long slender body and doxy markings) but his longer legs point to another breed or two in the mix.
He’s curious about his surroundings but a bit on the cautious side. New people and new situations are checked out before he acts. But, once he knows all’s okay, his trust takes over and all is well. He is respectful of all of his housemates; he loves human company and requires a home where someone in his family is home most of the time.
Ziggy is in foster care in the Humboldt Bay area and there has shown that he loves the company of other dogs (various sizes, ages, both male/female). We think he feels a lot more confident with them around. He enjoys kind attention from the 16 month old baby and is at ease with both members of the couple.
This lovely fellow is small (22 pounds), in good health, has a nice, shiny coat. He’s neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, house-trained. He came to the Humboldt County Shelter very apprehensive of his surroundings and new people he met. Ziggy was moved to foster care where he is thriving and enjoying a normal life.
Ziggy is adoptable through It’s A Dog’s Life Rescue; to meet Ziggy or for more information, please phone 707-839-3148, or email email@example.com
An adoption application, fee, reference checks and home visit are conditions of adoption. A stable home with responsible humans will be required; this is the last move we want for our sweet boy!
