My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ace. My foster mama tells me that I am the sweetest, most loveable pitty she has ever met. Maybe it’s because I love to fall asleep in her arms with my nose nestled into her neck like a little baby? She says that I’m a lap doggy…not sure what that means but I always sit on someone’s lap when we’re all watching movies – who wouldn’t? Anyway, I am a very smart and calm puppy. When people speak to me, I turn my head back and forth listening to them and always respond. I’ve learned how to sit and drop it…and go potty outside. I have a crate but I really don’t need it anymore so at night, I either put myself in there to sleep, or crash with one of the kiddos. I get along great with my two Great Pyrenees siblings. They have taught me that playing is a lot of fun, but I’m not supposed to nip too much when I jump on them. And that’s fine with me….I am just happy go lucky! I also LOVE cats, well, I’ve only met my foster kitty, but he is my favorite in the whole wide world. We snuggle on the couch together and play with each other all the time. Sometimes he meows at me because I forget that he is smaller than me so I lick him and comfort him to tell him I’m sorry. My mama and kids throw tennis balls for me, and I’ve started jumping for joy…doing adorable acrobatic leaps in the air after them. Everyone laughs and tells me I’m cute when I do that. Anyway, my foster mom said I should tell you that I get along great with everyone I meet….both kids and animals, and that anyone would be super lucky to have me as their fur-ever dog.

An approved application must be on file before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
We have no physical shelter but are a 100% volunteer foster home based organization.

Adoption Fee: $350
Location: Milwaukee, WI

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our adoptable Cupids we are only  guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think what is more important is to get to know each dog as an individual and then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personality in order to determine if they will make a good companion based on your lifestyle. We dot like a dog to be "labeled". Dog behavior is not a breed thing exclusively. It is a complex mix of nature and nurture.
All Adoption Fees Include:

Veterinarian Examination and Health Report
Certificate of Veterinarian Inspection
Heartworm Test (if age appropriate)
Heartworm Prevention
Distemper Combo Vaccination
Bordatella Intranasal Vaccination
Rabies Vaccination (3 months and older)

Lifetime of Support from Canine Cupids
The love and companionship of a new best friend!
