Georgia's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Georgia's Story...
We took a field trip to Cobb County animal control and came back with furry souvenirs. Georgia is one of them!

This fine dog was taken to the pound after she grew up and her family decided they didn't have time for pets.

Georgia was born in January 2013 so is just a big (40 lbs) puppy really. She's playful and loves children, other dogs and even got along with the family's cat.

Georgia walks well on a leash and knows the sit and stay commands. She's a great family pet and should have no trouble adjusting to a new life with an active family who'll include her in their pack!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
