My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7/6/14 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

ADOPTION FEE: $550

Fostered in Texas

Weight: 12.4 lbs.

Age: 1 year

5/13/14 - I have been in my foster home for about 5 months now and even though I like it here, I think it is about time I moved on and spread the love. The pups here are ok, but no one seems to want to play like I do, which leaves me deprived in the play department, which results in me getting into trouble.

I'm going to need a home with other dog(s) that like to play, a big fenced back yard to run out my puppy energy, a mother or father that would like to take me on daily walks or go to the dog park and older children to play with would be nice. I definitely wouldn't mind sleeping with my humans at night since I love to snuggle. I would not be good if you work long hours, since my crate time cannot be for long or it makes me stir crazy.

I am a great guy that needs an owner who can handle being my alpha since I love taking direction. I did not have much of that in my past homes and that has resulted in me being a bit overwhelming. The good thing is that I am putty in your hands, but you just can't let me take control.

So, got an active home that is ready for a loving, handsome pup that invites you to be in charge? Well, I'm your man to apply for.

12/24/13 - *WARNING*, objects in this picture may be much more active than they appear. Howdy, I’m Joey. I get along great with other dogs (large and small), might be too much for cats and wouldn’t mind a teenager to play with (I might be too rough for young children).

For whatever reason, my previous owner did not want me any longer so gave me away to someone. That person thought one of her family members would want me, but that was a no go, so I was yet again looking for a home. Yorkie Haven had space at the inn, so they took me in. So this is my 3rd home in 8 months. Since I had never had any vetting done in my previous home, my foster mom brought me to the vet and I am slowly getting all the update stuff I need. I also went to this person called a groomer. Never have I ever met anyone so good with scissors, and I think I look Maaavalous!!!!!

I’m happy, healthy and hungry for life and would like a human or two or three and some fursiblings to share my kisses and life with. I have a great attitude and am like a Diamond in the Ruff. I haven’t had much teaching in the manner department up until now, so foster mom has her work cut out for her. It’s not my fault that I was allowed to just be a bull in a china shop.

I know that I might be a little rambunctious, like to chew and am not housetrained yet, but I’m not sure what people expect. I am just a puppy and I’m working very hard to please, but that’s hard to do when you’ve never had anyone to teach you or tell you that you are a good boy. Shoot, up until now, I thought my name was “No, bad boy”.

I just know that there is someone out there that wants an active guy that loves life and is like a lump of clay ready for molding. I so have so much love in my heart to give. My motto is that “A great attitude is contagious, but I refuse to wait and catch it from others, I’m a carrier”. If you kind of feel the same way, let’s get together and talk about joining our happy outlook on life.
