Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you ready to meet one of the nicest dogs, ever?? If so, then come in and meet Dallas. Dallas is a 5 year old German shepherd that came to us from our Newark facility in hopes of getting a wonderful family to love him forever. Dallas was found all alone and hungry, left in someone's yard. Maybe they got him as a guard dog, maybe they got him as a puppy and forgot about him, who knows. But this poor boy has been neglected for quite a while. He is extremely thin and looked as if he never had a bath before. Dallas was absolutely beside himself with joy to have a nice, warm bath, get all cleaned up, get a giant fluffy bed and a good meal. He is already feeling like a new man and is making lots of new friends. Dallas is so very gentle, loving, quiet and well behaved. He is shy and if you speak too loudly or raise your hand, he gets a little frightened, so it seems someone may have mistreated him in the past. Dallas learns to trust very quickly though and once he realizes that you're okay, he will lean against you and be your best friend. Dallas doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs and would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 10. This sweet and gentle boy is so hopeful for a fresh start in life.....please make his hopes and dreams come true. File#23183 12/23/13
