My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Misty and I am a 4 yr. old mini Schnauzer/Terrier mix girl. I weigh 12 lbs.

I was found wandering on a country road when someone picked me up and took me to the local shelter. Until they groomed me, no one had any idea what breed of dog I was. I was skinny and full of fleas....I don't think I would have lasted much longer on my own.

Well, an angel must have been watching over me because it was only a couple days later when someone from Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati pulled me and took me to a private boarding facility in Cincinnati. There they gave me another bath and grooming. After that I went to the doggie doctor for a spay and to have all my shots made u-t-d.

Since I am so young, they cleaned my teeth but none needed to be pulled.

Today I had my photo shoot to go on Petfinder; but it was so windy and rainy that they had a hard time taking my best photos; but this will give you an idea of how little and cute I am.

I am a quiet girl, walk well on the leash and love to go for car rides. I get along with cats too. My favorite toys are little soft blankies that I can play with but also sleep on.
