Dallas's Story...
Hi, I'm Dallas! The vet tells me I'm a shepherd cross, approx 1 year. I am a super sweet and friendly girl who loves to cuddle, and when I say I love to cuddle, I seriously mean it! I am not one to pass up snuggles or kisses, it is what I love to do! I love to play with toys and chase after my foster siblings and when I get too hot from playing cause of my really thick coat, I enjoy rolling around in the snow outside! This has all big a change for me, so I have been learning and practising that I don't always have to be scared of new places or faces. I am not one for treats, so my foster mom works with me and uses lots of positive reinforcement. I truly am a spunky lady at heart and am looking for someone to adopt me to my furever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Saskatoon German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
