My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly is such a sweet, happy-go-lucky and extremely obedient girl. Her spine has completely healed and she now has an extra wiggle in her walk that is down right adorable! She loves squeaky toys, to play tug of war and exploring the backyard! Lilly doesn't have an agressive bone in her body, is not a food hog, and was quickly BFFS with my crew of dachshunds from the moment we brought her home. She is 100% house trained and has never met a stranger! Lilly is such a sweetheart, sadly she has a degenerative retinal condition that is going to eventually leave her blind. We took her to the Animal Eye Specialist in Tomball who gave us this diagnosis. Her foster mom was noticing she was just a little off when going through the doggie door or finding her food bowl, etc. It's a very slow and gradual process, there is nothing we can do medically to stop this progression of blindness. Her eyes are completely healthy otherwise and no medication is required.
