Meet our little Julie! This sweet girl was found as a stray, and was brought to a local shelter. She was a favorite of the shelter staff, and we could see why. We think she's mixed with some type of Shepherd, with her beautiful brown, soulful eyes, and the most adorable big ears! But whatever she's mixed with, we think this cutie pie, who is about 5 years old, and is only medium sized weighing in at 44 lbs., is a real sweetie!!

Julie was quite scared when she first came to her foster home, but has slowly been coming out of her shell. She is still a little nervous, but if you are patient, and give her a chance to make friends, she warms up. This poor girl was obviously mistreated, yet she still adores people. She always greets her foster mom with a little wag of her tail, and will follow her everywhere she goes. She enjoys curling up on a nice, soft blanket (or your couch if you'll let her!!), making sure her foster family isn't out of sight. She is a little on the thin side right now, but her foster family is making sure she gets plenty of nutritious food to help fill her out.

Julie gets along nicely with the other mellow dogs in her foster home. Julie would be fine with cats, as she pays no mind to cats at all. She likes people of all sizes, and gets along well with her foster family's gentle toddler, and just craves affection.

She is housebroken, up to date on her shots, spayed, microchipped, and is also being crate trained. She know how to "sit" and "lay down", and will take treats gingerly. Julie would make a nice walking companion, and would love for someone to take her on lots of walks. She is a mellow girl, who would do well in a calm environment with a loving family. You can see in her eyes, the love she is yearning for, and will make a wonderful companion for any family that adopts her.
