Cindy's Story...
Hello. My name is Cindy. I am a 5 year old, female, Silky/Yorkie mix. I am a shy little girl, looking for a quiet, adult only home. I am food motivated and with the right, patient family, I will gain some confidence. I would benefit from some kind of professional socialization, such as obedience classes or a specialized “scaredy” dog class. I like other dogs and living with a nice, smaller dog would help build my confidence. I love being outside and going on walks. It would be great if I could go on a short stroll every day with my person. This is also a good way for me to get comfortable with the big world. I could live with a cat that won't bully me. If you have the love and patience needed to help me out of my shell, and are willing to buy all the tasty treats I love, please head up WHS today so we can spend some time together!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
