My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoe is a pretty little 5 month old blond lab. She weighs about 35 lbs now and is still growing. Zoe loves everyone she meets and is a very social girl. Like most of the dogs we get, Zoe came from a high kill shelter after being picked up as a stray. Luckily she is safe now and ready to start her brand new life. She is in a great foster home getting lots of love and attention. Zoe has other canine foster siblings to romp and play with and has a great time. She is a sweet girl who will make a perfect companion for an active family. She does know when to calm down and.she loves to hop on the couch and cuddle with her foster mom. She is a very loving girl who just beams with ‘happy.’ Zoe does well in her crate and she is housebroken. Her foster family has taught her to ring a bell when she needs to go outside to potty. Zoe does well with both men and women, but she has not been around very young children, therefore, we would recommend a family with older children. Going for long walks is one of her favorite things and she does very well on a leash. Zoe also does well with the kitties, but she would probably want to play with them. She would be considered a medium energy girl. Zoe does have some food guarding issues that she is working on and she is working on taking treats nicely. Zoe is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. If you think Zoe would be a good fit for your family, please complete the online application and indicate her in the notes section. She would make any family proud.
