Meet Brody! This handsome gentleman is looking to start fresh in a new life. One with a warm bed to sleep on, a family to love him, and some good stability. Brody is a 7 year old, 70 pound, pit bull type dog mix and he's currently searching for his forever home in Salem, Oregon!
Brody hasn't had a life full of riches so far. He's lived mostly on the streets, roaming around, all while becoming a regular around the neighborhood. He found some people who would feed him and another who would let him sleep at her house at night, but was out walking the streets again by day. He has never had a family to love and cherish him, and it's about time he does. He's a little shy but warms up quickly. Brody also loves to play with other dogs. He regularly plays with the neighborhood dachshunds and would love a new playmate in his new home! Brody loves treats and loves to learn. He will need some help adjusting to a proper life for a sweet dog like him, but a little positivity and some yummy treats and Brody will adjust to the life he was always meant to have in no time! Since Brody has not been exposed to kids, we are recommending kids in the home be ages 12 and up.
This sweet boy deserves a warm bed and a family who will show him what life is supposed to be like for a wonderful dog like him! The indoor life, full of love and family and lots of toys! He hopes he finds the family that's right for him soon!
Adoption Fee: $100
Please note: Brody's adopters will need to be local to the Salem area for post adoption support and final vetting services. BAPBR has a trainer that is committed to helping Brody with his transition from street dog to family dog. But please keep in mind, Brody will need to stay in the Salem area for this post-adoption support.
