Scooby's Story...
I'm SCOOBY DOO, where are YOU? I've been waiting here for a very long time to find a forever home. I'm a real favorite of all the shelter staff and volunteers because I am Mr. Personality! I have many talents, including playing soccer with my food dish, which entertains me. I scoot it all around my cage and really enjoy myself.

A former Miami Dolphins football player comes to walk me & I'm told he thinks I'm really cool. Come visit & I'm sure you'll feel the same!

I also love to grab the leash in my mouth and walk YOU on my walks. I don't pull, I just want to be in charge! I'm 75 lbs. of loving sweetie. I'm good with other dogs. Older kids would be OK with me. I love to play tug-of-war and receive belly rubs. Who says I "ain't nothing but a hound dog"? I am so much more!"

Please contact Marcelle at marcellet66@hotmail.com or (954)415-8140 to meet Scooby!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Boca Raton Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Boca Raton, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Boca Raton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boca Raton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boca Raton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boca Raton paves the way for another one to be saved.
