Good Boy Boomer is a 2 year old, red and white, 27 pound neutered male. He is crate trained, uses a doggie door successfully, is micro chipped, and is good with other dogs.

Boomer’s Story

Boomer lost his family and litter mates due to a foreclosure of his home and is now looking for a forever home. He is a typical beagle, eager to please and always eager to eat! Boomer is a wonderful and dutiful companion. He is a very sweet boy that loves to cuddle! His foster mom likes to rock him… all babies need to be rocked! Boomer has sweet brown eyes that will melt any heart. He prefers to sit on the couch in your lap and is working on asking for permission first. Boomer needs a family of experienced dog owners and who know how to lead a pack. Boomer walks very well on a leash and follows basic commands with ease. In his foster home, he gets along with his two other senior beagle house mates and one feisty yorkie puppy mix. He eats in his crate and does best when he has a cow hoof that is dedicated to Boomer.

Boomer is a stout 27 pound boy but lean and healthy! When he arrived at his foster home, he was heartworm positive. Since then he has received heartworm treatments, and in March he received a clean bill of health!
