My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little fellow had a very tough start in life. He was picked up by animal control when his former owners were abusing and neglecting him. When he came to HCW, he was a very sad boy, with very little hair and red irritated skin, as well as being skin and bones. We took on the challenge of pampering him and getting him better. The vet diagnosed him with demodectic mange which was passed down from his mother at birth. We immediately started him on medicine to clear this up, got him neutered and showered him with love and affection. Just as we suspected, he has completely turned around. All of his hair has grown back, and he is now a young healthy, happy boy that loves to play with toys, other dogs and people. This special boy deserves the best home, that will show him how a dog should be treated, as part of the family.
