My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Etta. Etta and her siblings didn't get the best start to their young lives. Let us tell you the story of Etta Feral:

On one of the first cold days in November, one of our volunteers was on her way home from work when she noticed some puppies trotting through a gas station parking lot. She stopped to find that that they were all living in the field with no shelter, owner, or a place to call home. The attendants at the gas station were kind enough to feed them the daily leftovers from the deli. Several volunteers gathered to help rescue these pups and let me tell you this was no easy task. Since being born these pups had no human contact so there was no trust established. We were able to rescue Etta and her two siblings. We immediately vetted them and got them into foster care where they can learn to trust and want human contact.

Etta and her siblings have made HUGE strides in their foster homes, but will require patient understanding homes willing to help them over their rough start in life.

Etta is wonderful with other dogs, loves to run and play and wrestle and honestly would be better in a home with another dog. She is potty trained to a doggie door as well as crate trained. Her foster mom has been working with her on leash training and she has not quite mastered that;) She will need a home with a fenced in yard. Please consider Etta for your home.
