Meet Colln. He and his siblings didn't get the best start to their lives. Let us tell you the story of Colin Feral:
On one of the first cold days in November, one of our volunteers was on her way home from work when she noticed some puppies trotting through a gas station parking lot. She stopped to find that that they were all living in the field with no shelter, owner, or a place to call home. The attendants at the gas station were feeding them the daily leftovers from the deli. Several volunteers gathered to help rescue these pups and let me tell you this was no easy task. Since being born these pups had no human contact so there was no trust established. We were able to rescue Colin and his two sisters. We immediately vetted them and got them into foster care where they can learn to trust and want human contact.
Colin and his siblings have made HUGE strides in their foster homes, but will still require patient understanding homes willing to continue to help them overcome their rough start on life.
Colin is wonderful with other dogs, loves to run and play and wrestle and honestly would be better in a home with another dog. He is potty trained to a doggie door as well as crate trained. He will need a home with a fenced in yard. If you have a heart for a dog who will need some tender consistent training, please consider Colin for your home.
