My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE MARCH 6TH - through no fault of her own, Lady Bug was returned to us. This sweet little girl was adopted to a couple who decided that she was too active for them. As always, during the adoption process, full disclosure on personality and habits are shared. After meeting the couple's dog, which went very well, it was a done deal - for a day. Lady Bug is thankfully back with her foster, who welcomed her with open arms. BIO: My name is Lady Bug; I am a two year old female, very petite at 46 pounds and more than ready for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray in Calhoun County so can't tell you much about my background, but hey, it's the future that counts, and I am so eager to start building a long and happy life with a family of my own. I love to cuddle and ride in the car, and I am great on a leash. I am housetrained as well (I will scratch or stand by the door to let you know ;-) If you have the loving, friendly family dog, I am sure we will get along! With all that has happened to me lately, I may start out very shy, but if you give me a day or two of patience and love, I will become a playful little love bug. I would definitely enjoy my new family giving me belly rubs and lots of ear scratches. I love to play outside and of course chase that occasional squirrel I might see, and I “might” get a little confused sometimes, because I have been known to chase the neighborhood cat ;-( I am waiting for my furever family to come and take me home. Let's make 2014 the year of the Lady Bug! Love you already, Lady Bug Please visit me at www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com or call
