My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brent & Trent were left behind in North Alabama when their family moved away. Found hungry, thirsty, cold, flea-infested and terribly matted, these two got a quick trip to the vet and 'spa' where they were clean shaven (don't worry, says their foster mom, IT WILL GROW BACK!), shampooed, and had all their shots updated. Blessedly, these two are heartworm negative. They are both neutered.

We believe they might be siblings but are not sure. They do love each other and play together constantly in their foster home, as well as playing with others. These two are vigilant watch dogs....true to their breed heritage for guarding temples. But they are very quick to jump into their foster mom's lap whenever she sits down (which is not often enough to suit them, they asked me to tell all of you out there with available laps).

Brent has lovely black and white markings and a marked underbite that gives him his distinctive 'walrus' look and weighs about 16 lbs. Trent is slightly smaller at 13 lbs, with buff and white markings and sabling on his ears.

Both boys are about 95% there on their housetraining. If their foster mom gets home on time, they are accident free. It seems they just can't wait sometimes if she works too long.

Brent and Trent can be adopted as a pair or on their own. Their adoption fee is $150 per dog.

The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard. A solid history of excellent vet care for current or previous pets is required. Preference will be given to applicants who have specific breed experience.
