Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Tara's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tara's Story...
Tara is a beautiful and sweet golden/lab/possible corgi?? mix. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in NC along with Tony. Tara has low confidence and struggles with that. NO AGGRESSION at all with anything, even food and toys. Tara has made GREAT strides in her shyness and confidence since we have started her on Prozac. She has come out of her shell and is definitely more happy and engaging! She would do best with at least one other dog to help her with her confidence issues. Spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed.
Adoption fee $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tara, a Franklinville Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Franklinville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Franklinville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklinville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklinville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklinville paves the way for another one to be saved.
