Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The paperwork from the shelter says Sophie is a year but I believe her to be younger. She has her adult teeth but still seems very puppy like. She has the marking of a blue heeler cattle dog but her build is slender and her coat is longer, softer and not as thick. She weighs in the low 20's. She has received all her vet care including being spayed.
She is house broken and uses our dog door, and fenced in yard. She is crated at night and cries a little but then settles down. Her purpose in life is to play. She is a very happy little girl who enjoys other dogs, and attention from people.
I think she is very smart and curious. These are great traits but she will require some direction and clear rules. She has learned to sit for food in minutes. She goes for a ball and brings it back but hasn't learned to drop it. Sophie learned how to use the dog door by watching the other dogs in a matter of hours. I am working on her recognizing her name and the command to come. She has the potential to be a great dog. Oh, did I mention she is very, very cute?
