My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roscoe is located in Upstate NY and he's much too young to be a foster with Izzy's Place Senior Rescue, however, we are cross posting to help his family find him a new home. Roscoe is 1-1/2 years old and in tip top shape. He's a typical scenthound who enjoys sniffing things out and thrives on lots of exercise. He will be happiest if he is given proper stimulation and challenge such as field work, tracking, perhaps even search and rescue. He's a wonderful companion who is happiest when he receives ample attention from his person.

Roscoe is currently in a home where he is not getting enough attention or exercise. Sadly, he was adopted by a young adult who did not realize what responsible dog ownership requires. Roscoe was taken in by the persons elderly mother who is taking good care of him but knows he will be happiest in a more active home and with someone who can spend more time with him.

Roscoe knows basic commands and even a few tricks. He dances for treats! He is crate-trained as well.
