My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helena is a wonderful girl in spite of a tough life. Her loving nature and personality shined in the pound where she was due to be put down and volunteers decided she deserved a chance to live. She is wonderful with dogs, cats, people big and small but is still learning not to jump so older children would be better for her. Although she is very playful, she would do well with an older calmer dog because she is not getting any younger, she is about 8 to 9 years in age...what an age to finally start living! Helena is perfect in her crate, completely house broken, she does not get on furniture and will lay quietly by her person's feet for hours. She is thankful for any attention she receives and shows it. She is very affectionate, obedient and will make a wonderful companion-she also does not seem to shed.
