My name is Skippy!

Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in Dayton, Ohio - Skippy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Skippy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Skippy's Story...
They call me Skippy. I weigh about 8 lbs and I just love to run, so please don't consider me if you don't have a yard with some leg room. I love everyone, and I especially love to snuggle up nice and warm with my foster mom. I can jump really high - no baby gate will hold me away from where I want to be. I love to chase toys - especially those that squeak. My foster mom calls me a sweetie - I guess I am, although I love to play and run. So although I love my foster mom, I would be happy in a family who would have time to love me, hold me and throw things so I could run and chase after them. I would be fine with one sister or brother to snuggle with. Could you be my forever family?

I'm a typical Chihuahua so no small children please!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skippy, a Dayton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Dayton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Dayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
